Each year, select PCC groups throughout the country receive special recognition for outstanding contributions to the Postal Customer Council Program. The Peoria Area PCC was presented with the Premier Gold PCC Recognition Award for 2013 at their National PCC Week Celebration on Thursday, September 19th at the Robert Michel Student Center Ballroom at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Randy Workman, USPS HQ Business Mailer Support Analyst and PCC Day National Speaker, presented the award to the members of the Executive Board of the Peoria Area PCC Group present.
In a congratulatory letter, USPS Great Lakes Area Operations Vice President, Jacqueline Krage Strako, stated that "It is clear from your accomplishments that you share in the vision of building a mailing industry that will last well into the future." The Peoria Area PCC supports a strong and dynamic Postal Service. The PCC Program plays a critical role in the synergy between the Postal Service and the mailing industry on the local level by supporting membership educational and networking opportunities. The Peoria PCC will keep this forward movement for the Peoria Area PCC throughout the coming year.
